Conceição dos Bugres is an icon of the culture of Mato Grosso do Sul. His work shaped the identity of a state and is the subject of works and research from all over Brazil. Isabella Banducci transformed her thesis into this publication that I really enjoyed writing. A project that had the help of collectors who were passionate about Conceição's work.
